Welcome to Akluvya Foundation, a 501(c) (7) non-profit organization, where our mission is to create lasting change in our communities and empower individuals to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Founded in 2014, we are a passionate team dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of lack of Education for underprivileged children in USA and India with a focus on healthcare.
At Akluvya, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our programs focus on NJIT Scholarship Program, Ved Mandir Orphanage and Homoeopathic Health Clinic designed to uplift marginalized populations and foster sustainable development. Through collaboration with local communities, government bodies, and other organizations, we aim to create comprehensive solutions that have a real impact.
We are committed to transparency and accountability, ensuring that our stakeholders are informed and engaged in our efforts.
How we Started..
Mr. Ashish Kapoor, S/O Dr Lachman Das Kapoor, founded the Akluvya Foundation in 2014 and has been actively managing it for over a decade. He is a strong advocate for providing opportunities for children to pursue Stem-focused, career-relevant degrees at NJIT, regardless of their financial circumstances. In 2022, he launched the “Highlander Promise” Scholarship Program, a $30 million initiative aimed at making NJIT education 100% tuition-free for deserving New Jersey residents from families in the lowest income brackets.
Dr Lachman Das Kapoor established a Homeopathic Healthcare Clinic in Jammu, India for the Ved Mandir Orphanage over three decades ago, providing education, food, and hostel facilities for over 400 children. Mr. Ashish Kapoor has also been actively involved in these foundations, empowering them through various initiatives.

Homeopathic Clinic
Ved Mandir Homoeopathic Clinic was established by Dr Lachman Das Kapoor over three decades ago. It is a free Homoeopathy Dispensary under the direct supervision and administrative control of Ved Mandir Committee Jammu.
